With the last update to DCS Core came some extra bang from your MK-8X and  M117 Warheads, previously the bombs were massively underpowered compared to real life, you should now see approximately a 90% increase in destructive power. 

What does this mean for your average ground pounder? It means dropping a weapon outside parameters gives you a great chance of flying through the fragmentation envelope and dropping in too close to friendlies will ruin their day!

While we don't quite get effects like this, the damage to objects at a distance to the weapon impact point is now vary obvious. This is a huge improvement to game play and makes dropping a string of MK-82's on a convoy of vehicles a very cool experience for the pilot, maybe not the so cool for the convoys.
